What does elemental synergy do?

When your race's element matches your potion's element (e.g., Fiendish Demon + Dragon Breath = Fire/Fire), the race's elemental bonus (typically +20%) applies to the potion's damage. This is a key build strategy for maximizing DPS.

How does purity affect damage?

Purity scales from 70% to 100% of your potion's base Power. A 100% purity (perfect QTE) Night Wraith does full 148 damage, while 50% purity only deals about 104 damage. Always aim for high purity when brewing.
